Medicare rebate
I am an endorsed mental health occupational therapy provider through Medicare. You will require a referral from your GP or psychiatrist and may be eligible for up to 10 sessions in a calendar year. You will receive a rebate of at least $89.50 from Medicare. If you have a chronic condition - you may also be eligible for a further five sessions through Medicare. This will require a discussion with your GP.
Private health insurance
I am a recognised mental health occupational therapy provider through most major health funds. You are not able to claim Medicare and private health insurance at the same time but you can claim Medicare and when that has expired, claim further sessions through your private health insurance.
My fees
My fees as of July 2026 are $250.00 for individual sessions. Group work and group therapy is $95.00 a session. Please note, my fees are increased by small margins most years.
